LALO Tactical announces Maximus Grinder; sales to help children of fallen military and first responder families

San Diego, Ca. (September 19, 2016) –LALO LLC, dba LALO Tactical, a San Diego, California footwear company, is pleased to announce The Maximus Grinder Training Shoe, the result of extensive collaboration with Bobby Maximus, the General Manager, Training Director, & Lead Seminar Instructor at GYM JONES, an elite, Tier 1, strength & conditioning facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This lightweight cross-trainer is built to withstand the heavy weightlifting abuse Maximus regularly inflicts on his training gear and shoes. It features the LALO Anti-Inversion Technology – an extended platform under the arch area of the foot, a ceramic coated SUPER FABRIC™ toecap, unique cleaver pattern outsole PODs for increased traction on the gym floor, a high density, stiffer shore EVA for lifting-oriented workouts and a rocker toe profile for efficiency during squat and deadlift movements.  The Maximus is available for both men and women.

'The Maximus' is much more than a shoe. It represents a way of life and it represents the qualities of resilience, integrity, and industry. When customers purchase 'The Maximus' they’ll be getting more than just footwear, they will become a part of something greater. LALO Tactical and Bobby Maximus want consumers to be inspired, to be part of a community that believes that 'the only easy day was yesterday' and to be part of a group of people who constantly challenge themselves to improve.

“I am honored to collaborate with LALO Tactical on the Maximus Grinder. I am proud to say this is the best training shoe in the market, but I am even more proud of what it stands for.  A portion of the sale of each pair of shoes will go to help children of military and first responder personnel who have lost their parents in the line of duty,” said Maximus.

Since 2008, Robert “Bobby Maximus" MacDonald has been the General Manager, Training Director, and Lead Seminar Instructor at Gym Jones. He is also a regular contributor to Men’s Health Magazine and has been featured in numerous workout publications, conducted many seminars and worked with numerous Tier One Assets and Special Forces groups within the United States military. Maximus will debut his first book, The Maximus Body, this January.

In the past, Bobby was a police officer, serving as a member of the Peel Regional Police Force, as well as The Toronto Police Service. He spent time on the road, as part of the Toronto Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy Team, and also as a Defensive Tactics Instructor.

He has also competed in numerous fight competitions across North America. In 2006 he fought in UFC 58, UFC 62, and Ultimate Fight Night 5, where he won Submission of the Night. Robert also starred on Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter series, was the Ring of Fire light-heavyweight champion, and fought for an amateur world kickboxing championship.

Bobby has trained under some of the best athletic programs and fight teams in North America, and he credits much of his success to those who have helped him along the way of his incredible journey.

In addition to the Maximus Grinder, LALO Tactical and Bobby Maximus have joined forces to create a consumer experience with a new section of the LALO Tactical website, featuring free training programs by Maximus, the opportunity to register your Maximus shoe, blog articles and more. Additionally, Maximus Challenge Coins will be randomly distributed within five boxes of shoes – inviting customers to an all expense paid trip to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend ‘The LALO Athlete Warrior Experience’ with Maximus himself.

“We couldn't be more pleased to be partnering with Maximus on the new LALO MAXIMUS shoe. LALO gains valuable insights into the needs of the end user by being able to collaborate on design and development with elite Tier 1 Athletes and Operators such as Bobby Maximus.
